Running as a Meditation
Running is the first thing that taught me surrender. The nerves I’d get before racing were sometimes unbearable— completely consuming my body and stealing all my precious energy.
But if I just... let go of those racing thoughts and let the energy of the moment just BE - I could accomplish so much more.
Running has always been my favorite meditation, still is. Even without the adrenaline that comes with competition.
Breathe. Let go. And run.
No thoughts. Just my feet on the pavement - carrying me forward through the timeless now.
